“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” Matthew 7:24-27
Our homes are too critical a place to assume everything is as it should be.  Our homes have the potential to be a rejuvenating, encouraging and uplifting source for our lives; but we have to pay attention to our homes.  Have you done an inspection lately?  What have you found as we’ve trekked two weeks into our current series BLUEPRINTS?  Last week we recognized that it starts with me.  The Spirit of God is present in our homes as He is present in my life; but it does not end with me because God is at work in the lives of each person in our homes.  He stands at the door of their hearts and knocks, waiting to come in.  We can be assured that God is at work in them.  Our prayers for them should be that they would open the door and let Christ come in.
This coming week we continue in the series BLUEPRINTS, as we look at Romans 12:1-2.  Take an early look and ask God for insight for your family.
We are looking forward to seeing you this coming weekend and hope you will bring a friend with you as we gather to celebrate the goodness of our God, catch up with friends and are encouraged by the message of hope in Christ!
Please continue to pray for the families and the victims of the tragedy in Boston.  This terrorist attack, whether it was foreign or domestic, has left many devastated.  Pray that we will all turn to God through it and remain with him.  Also, pray that the churches in that area will give the life healing message of Hope in Jesus Christ unashamedly...He is our only hope.

April 5, 2013

Easter was incredible! 1,601 people were on our campus celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! I am so proud of each one who served in the weeks leading up to Easter and of course throughout the weekend. Our church is a special group of people. When our family went home Sunday afternoon we were in awe of how we all came together to make this year's Easter so special. From the Worship Team to the Media Team to the parking lot Road Warriors, to the Setup Crews, the Nursery and Children's as well as many others we saw hundreds come together all for the same purpose . . . to lift up the name of Jesus.

We could not be more proud of you and the attitude you brought to the weekend. We know it was not problem-free and some put in extra duty, but you did it willingly. Thank you! We love this church!

This coming weekend we begin a new series called "Blueprints." It has something to say to every one of us. We hope you will not miss any of it. If you want to look ahead to Sunday you can be reading Colossians 3:1-17.

We can hardly wait to see you again as we gather to celebrate the goodness of our God, catch up with friends in our new courtyard area or in The Landing and be encourged with the Word of God.
